Day 88: Walk Through The Fog

As the mist coated the ground with tiny dots of water, I could see a thick fog hovering over the trees. The rest of the park was dark and ominous yet I was drawn to it.

I deviated off my usual route. Instead, I took tentative steps into the park as looked for any signs of danger. There were none. I was alone.

I walked slowly thinking about the cloud of uncertainty that’s been hanging over my life lately with my health, my job, my family and my future. I let the mist fall across my shoulders. I didn’t put up my umbrella. I just allowed the water from above and wash over me. I shrugged it off and kept walking.

By the time I got to the other side of the park, I realized I’d left the fog behind. It was clear sailing home and hopefully for more days to come.
