I took a shovel in my hand for the first time in a year. I used it to clear part of my driveway. Then, my favorite tween helped me moved a large tree branch that fell during last night’s storm. He followed this by taking a few rides on the sled I purchased for him two Christmases ago. And, we capped off our morning with a snowball fight. Taking time to enjoy those simple pleasures in life was the highlight of my day.
