I’m a kid at heart, which I suppose is one of the keys to enjoying the aging process, which sometimes isn’t fun. I still like to laugh, try new things and explore.
I was wandering around looking for unique decorations for my Christmas tree this weekend and I chuckled when I saw a squirrel ornament. It reminded me of a character from the cartoon,”SpongeBob SquarePants.” I first got turned on to SpongeBob when my “stepson” came into my life. Over time, it became one of my favorite cartoons.
I didn’t buy the squirrel ornament, mainly because I had one on my tree last year. But, I did decide to choose unique items that also made me smile. So, for say 6 of my ugly Christmas sweater countdown, I chose my SpongeBob shirt.
(Btw, I saw a cartoon the other day that explains perfectly why I love that show. It’s in my slide show along with my tree)
