Trust In Him

My faith has been tested but it has not failed me when I needed it the most. In my darkest hours and during my deepest despair, I’ve cried out to God and begged to see brighter days. While the sun isn’t always shining on me, there is some light. And, the thought that my mom and two aunts are resting peacefully now comforts me, even when I miss them the most like this Christmas.

I’ve also found a reason to smile daily. I started every day leading up to Christmas by picking out a holiday /shirt sweater (all 25 are pictured here. Essays on my page here or nikabeamon.com).  My shirt for day 25 of my Christmas countdown is a reminder to all those who believe that Christmas begins with Christ. It comes with this wish:

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13

I hope that everyone I know finds some small thing that makes them happy or distracts from the pain and loneliness as 2020 winds down.

Merry Christmas to all!!
