My husband likes to hold up his presents and shake them to guess what’s inside. Annoyingly he is often right. I have asked him not to do it but he can’t help himself. This year, I decided to do something to throw him off he didn’t ruin the excitement of the morning.

I came downstairs dressed like Gingy from the movie, “Shrek.” The smile that spread across his face let me know that my plan worked. He was so bus staring at my costume he didn’t shake his presents, he opened them and was pleasantly surprised. 

Our whimsical moment passed and it was time to get ready for our trek out to Long Island to see his side of the family. We packed up our million dollar bacon, charcuterie board and gifts and went on our way. But, we couldn’t let all of our childlike glee go. So, for day 25 of my Christmas sweater countdown we put on couples shirts. Mine read chest and his said nuts.
