I am a glorious mess. I’m so much more than the rare disease I’m often called upon to talk about. Yet, I’m grateful I can shed light on igg4-Rd and people living with other autoimmune diseases. 

Despite this, it was refreshing to be given an opportunity to talk about another aspect of my life. Seven Story Publishing recently interviewed me about journey as a writer. I may not be a household name but I’ve gotten to weave tales and share true stories that have touched others. My career as a journalist allows me to write about local and world events, many of which are tragedies. I spend time outside of work crafting stories that entertain and enlighten through fiction novel or non-fiction stories.
